The Disney Interactive Media Group (DIMG) offers a compelling mix of interactive entertainment and informational content & services for the Internet & mobile devices for audiences around the world. DIMG is an industry leader in online virtual worlds for kids & families and the recent rollout of the new look site for the AU market has further backed this up.
DIMG approached Gruden to implement the latest online world "Disney Fairies", into the AU market. The Fairies franchise had already been successfully rolled out across the UK & US and as such, there was an existing framework for Gruden to work from. In addition to this, the DIMG AU team were keen to improve on existing functionality and add new features. With this in mind, Gruden worked with DIMG to establish the brief and define the scope of work for the enhancements and new features.
The result of this process was the successful deployment of the Fairies Franchise where we created a local version of the site with key enhancements such as a new Video Games page, customised global navigation bar, installation of a new leaderboard banner and creative updates to the Movies page to name a few.
We were very happy with the outcome of the site and DIMG AU & APAC were delighted with the results.
