SkillsDMC Skills Maximiser Flex Application
 

Background

Update the Skills Maximiser" program, an offline application developed by SkillsDMC, to assist enterprises & RTOs in the drilling, mining & quarrying & civil infrastructure sectors through the implementation of an interactive flex application. This application would allow them to utilise a system that manages training pathways, assisting in training needs analysis and in tracking employee skills levels. The system also gathers aggregate data which will in turn assist in continuously improving the training packages provided by SkillsDMC.

Response

Gruden & SkillsDMC developed an interactive solution utilising Adobe Flex & Sitecore CMS. The frontend was completely redesigned by the Gruden Creative team focusing on overhauling the UI into a streamlined user experience. The main focus was to make data easy for the user to manage in real time, but allow the UI to be adaptable to the user permission settings.

The Adobe Flex platform allowed Gruden to deliver a complete online experience that enabled Skills Maximiser" to be available to users on multiple platforms & browsers, with complex, interactive reporting tools which can be utilised to monitor competencies on an employee, mine site, company or industry level.
