Capital Partners required an integrated business tool to streamline and manage their day to day activities. The Intranet provides staff with a common interface to data, and the ability to perform a range of business tasks in an efficient and user-friendly manner, through a centralised web-based business application.
The new Intranet has replaced functionality that was provided by a combination of Access and Excel files to extend and streamline their work environment, including the ability to manage and track tasks and events.
Macromedia ColdFusion MX was utilised to build a custom Content Management System allowing for specialist modules and tasks. These custom modules provide internal users a holistic view of all tools they need throughout the working day, offering features such as; Personalised research task list, Ms Exchange integration, detailed reporting and customisable quick links.
