Cybersmart Kids

HTML website with 'AA' Accessibility Compliance

The Australian Communications and Media Authority (ACMA) is responsible for the regulation of broadcasting, radiocommunications, telecommunications and online content. ACMA required Gruden to upgrade their Cybersmart Kids website, which is used to educate children and parents on general Internet Safety.

Cybersmart Kids Online is a community awareness project developed by ACMA with the objective of providing parents and children with information and tools to help them have a rewarding, productive and safe experience of the internet.

ACMA has a range of roles and responsibilities relating to the internet. It administers a scheme for dealing with content on the internet, enforces Australia's anti-spam law and can make rules about accessing the internet via premium mobile phone services.

As part of this project, Gruden was required to carry out an upgrade to their CMS, a revised Information Architecture, a new & more appealing look & feel, tweaks and imporvements to their interactive area, as well as a number of other enhancements to generally improve the site to better communicate their message.

Gruden worked with PTG to ensure that the site meets all accessibility requirements. The website is also 'AA' accessibility compliant - to ensure that the website is accessible to all audiences.
