Pymble Ladies' College is a day and boarding school that caters for girls from 5 to 18 years (Kindergarten to Year 12). The College is located on 20 hectares of beautiful grounds on Sydney's Upper North Shore.
Pymble contacted Gruden with a brief for a new website to totally replace their existing web infrastructure and design.
Pymble's website is a fundamental medium of communication with four core audience groups made up of students, staff, parents, and ex-students.
The website redevelopment project was a major upgrade for the College and Shado Enterprise (a Straker Interactive product) was selected as the Content Management System (CMS) framework, using Adobe ColdFusion as the development language for product extension.
The front end website look and feel was designed by Gruden's in-house creative team following our successful look and feel methodology. The contemporary design is targeted at a wide audience demographic, with a broad reach in levels of sophistication when interacting with websites.
Some of the key features of the College are the expansive of grounds on which the College is situated, their extensive technology programme and their outstanding facilities. These are all demonstrated in the design through the use of the bold header images, combined with the overlapping elements to add dimension to the user interface.
Some clear calls to actions where identified such as enrol, viewing the virtual tours & videos and were highlighted in the design through the use of colour (namely red) to drive traffic and attract new students.

Gruden will continue to provide ongoing project work and maintenance to support Pymble Ladies' College with their future website requirements. This will include online strategic guidance and website support for both creative and technical requirements.
